? How do I change the order of my data?
Drag rows up or down using the arrows to the left of the range.
? How do I add a new row without pressing the "Add Row" Button?
Use the Enter or Return key in an input box key to immediately add a new row.
? Why does a red line appear if I add more rows?
The red line indicates that rows below the line will not show up on the disk. There a limited amount of space on the disk even if the font sizes are altered.
? How can I customize my ranges so they are not in equal range graduations?
To customize your ranges so that they do not go in equal range graduations, for example: 100, 200, 300, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850, 900, 950, 1000.
With the rows 50, 150, 250, and 350 you can either:
- Select the 'Hide' option in the dropdown to hide those rows.
- Drag the rows below the red visibility line. Rows below the line won't show up on the disk.
? How can I get a more granular set of ranges?
If you want a more granular customization of ranges then import the most granular range increment when importing from LRBC and hide the rows, or drag them below the red line.
Warning: The DOPE data you enter is only as good as the data you supply to it. Even if using LRBC the data our calculator supplies is only as good as the input data you supply to it. Variables such as weather, shooter ability, other shooting equipment, and other factors can affect accuracy. The DOPE Disk is a good reference for long range shooting but in no way supersedes a responsible shooter. As always, all of the fundamental gun safety rules apply when using DOPE disk or in any firearm endeavor.
